Which heat class do I need?
Light for summer and warm sleepers, Medium as an all-rounder for heated bedrooms, Warm for winter and cool rooms (below 18 °C), Extra Warm for very cold bedrooms or people who get cold easily. Our duvet finder helps you in three clicks.
What do down class 1 and fill power mean?
Down of Class 1 (DIN EN 12934) consists of new, pure down and feathers without foreign materials. Fill power (cuin) describes how much volume the down creates – the higher it is, the lighter and warmer the duvet is for the same fill weight.
How do I properly wash a down duvet?
The care label for your model is always the deciding factor – you can find the care instructions for every product in the product details. Wash washable duvets on a delicate cycle with down detergent and then dry them completely in the dryer (e.g. with two tennis balls). Important: never store while damp. Alternatively, have them professionally cleaned by a bedding cleaning service.
Are down duvets suitable for allergy sufferers?
In many cases, yes. The cover is what matters: tightly woven covers – identifiable by the NOMITE seal – are impermeable to dust mites. Whether your desired model bears the seal can be found in the product details; if in doubt, we are happy to advise you.
How does the 101-night money-back guarantee work?
